The Team at Patterson Veterinary Hospital would like to introduce you to a very cool Greyhound named Joe. Joe is 4 Years old and loves to visit grandma’s house. His favorite activity is to sleep, and his best trick is to make his food disappear! Joe loves to play with anything that squeaks and his favorite food is carrots or other homemade snacks his dad makes. We really enjoy seeing Joe when he comes in, which is why we were excited to make him this week’s Pet of the Week!
Happy Bring Your Dog to Work Day!
We are very lucky here at Patterson Veterinary Hospital to be able to bring our dogs to work with us anytime we want, but we didn’t want to miss celebrating Bring Your Dog to Work Day today! We had a “Puppy Party” at lunch and let all of the dogs run around and play in the pool. Normally this is what we get to do at lunch every day!
When we bring our dogs (or cats) to work, we keep them in their assigned kennels in the back of the clinic. They all get to hang out back there until our breaks.
On lunch break, we brought all of the dogs outside so that they can run around and play! We have a big backyard at the clinic so the dogs can get plenty of exercise during these times. It’s very nice to be able to bring our dogs with us when we have a long shift so they don’t have to be left at home all day!
Most of our dogs get along really well and love to play together! Some have even been best buddies since they were puppies!
The best part about bringing your dog to work with you is that you also get to go out and enjoy the nice weather! It was such a nice day for us to be outside during lunch!
For Dr. Driscoll’s dogs, it Take Your Dog to Work Day every day! Merlin and Griffin have their own special spot in the office and they get to relax all day. They really like to greet everyone that comes in the office.
We can’t forget the kittens! We have a litter of kittens that get to come in with their mom when she works! They are very fun to have around.
We love being able to bring our pets to work with us! They enjoy themselves just as much as we do!
The team at PVH is happy to introduce you to this week’s Pet of the Week – Ginger Spice! Ginger Spice has captured the hearts of everyone she has met here at the clinic. It’s no question as to why – she is adorable and sweet. Ginger Spice was named after the color of her coat. She loves playing outside and pestering her brother, Tug. Ginger Spice can do a couple tricks and is the cutest when she is doing them! She loves to visit the park and go anywhere her brother Tug goes. Ginger Spice is a very happy little puppy and we are very excited to see her every time she comes in!
We would like to introduce you to three adorable Husky mixes named Dakota, Smokey, and Gracie. They really like playing together with their octopus toy. Dakota, Smokey & Gracie also are good at performing tricks like playing dead and using their “inside voice”. They are the cutest when they cuddle and love eating people food. These three are the sweetest dogs ever, which is why we chose them as this week’s Pets of the Week!
The Team at PVH would like to wish a happy anniversary to Tammy! Tammy is one of our receptionists that greet you as you walk in our clinic! Tammy always tries to help the clients in any way she can. She is a great asset to our team!

She is able to pitch in and help wherever it is needed and we appreciate her so much for that! Congratulations Marquee!
